Appointments require a deposit.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure an appointment and is applied to the final tattoo cost. An appointment is not confirmed until the artist receives it.
These are the studio-wide expectations that help protect your appointment, your artist’s time, and the quality of the work.
Shop-wide standards
Every Tattoo Nerds artist reviews their own requests, manages their own schedule, and may set project-specific terms. Your artist’s written confirmation is the final word when it is more specific than these general shop policies.
The deposit, notice, arrival, design, and age standards below are adapted from BillyDaKid’s current booking policies.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure an appointment and is applied to the final tattoo cost. An appointment is not confirmed until the artist receives it.
With at least 48 hours’ notice, one reschedule is generally allowed and the deposit may transfer to the new date. Your artist will confirm the replacement appointment.
Cancellations or changes inside 48 hours, late arrivals that prevent the session, and no-shows forfeit the deposit. Rebooking requires a new deposit.
Arrive rested, fed, hydrated, sober, and ready for the planned session. Significant lateness may reduce tattoo time or require a new appointment.
Clients must be at least 18 years old and bring valid government-issued photo identification. Tattoo Nerds does not tattoo minors.
Tell your artist about relevant allergies, medications, skin conditions, or health concerns before the appointment. If you are ill or the skin is compromised, contact the artist before coming in.
Custom artwork is built around your concept, placement, anatomy, and the direction approved during consultation. Designs may be presented on the appointment day, with reasonable refinements handled by the artist.
Space is limited. Ask your artist before bringing a guest, and do not bring children to an appointment. The artist may limit visitors when focus, comfort, or safety requires it.
Estimates reflect the discussed size, placement, detail, and session plan. Changes to the project can change the price. The remaining balance is due as directed by your artist.
Follow the aftercare instructions your artist provides. Touch-up timing and eligibility are artist-specific and may not cover damage caused by ignored aftercare or missed healing guidance.
Privacy + records
Tattoo Nerds collects contact details, consultation information, consent and health disclosures, signatures, and a photo or file of government-issued identification when you submit a waiver. These records are used to evaluate requests, coordinate service, document consent, verify identity and age, and maintain shop records.
Private uploads are stored outside the public website and are available only through authenticated staff tools. Identification files are not attached to routine emails, included in search indexes, or published on client-facing pages. Authorized Tattoo Nerds staff and the assigned artist may access records when needed for studio operations. We retain records according to operational and legal needs; contact the studio to ask about access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
